January 2020

Wordflow is Born

Sarah partners with Anton to develop Wordflow, based on Anton’s groundbreaking app for musicians, Random Roots. Wordflow uses similar methods to guide struggling readers quickly & efficiently toward reading fluency.

July 2020 - 2021

Jamestown Beta

Wordflow launched in beta at the Jamestown Community Center, which provides enrichment programs to students at four schools in San Francisco.

November 2021

SIPPS Implementation

Based on promising results, Wordflow works with the Center for Collaborative Classroom, implementing its SIPPS curriculum into the app.

January to June 2022

Pilot Testing

In pilot testing, SIPPS teachers use Wordflow as a supplementary tool, assigning students practice on Wordflow after they received classroom instruction. Pilot shows extremely high student engagement and significant learning retention.

August 2023

NewSchools Venture Fund

After spending a year incorporating the learnings from the SIPPS pilot into the app, Earsight wins the NewSchools Venture Fund Grant. Wordflow is available cross-platform.

Spring 2024

Launch

Wordflow will soft launch this Spring, with over 300 students from the Jamestown Community Center, as well as select school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
